George M. Pilcher papers, 1898-1933.

This collection is made up of the diaries of George M. Pilcher who wrote newspaper articles for the Buckeye Press Association in Ohio. The diaries contain information on Pilcher's homestead, cutting and selling cordwood to steamers, his work as an engineer on the steamer, St. Joseph, as deputy marshall, trapper, artist, writer, bridge builder, and inventor.
